Kate is a New York-based actor, comedian, and award-winning clown known for her fearless commitment to characters and audacious physical comedy. Broadway: “Melissa Etheridge: My Window” (GLAAD Award for Outstanding Broadway Production). TV: “The Other Black Girl” (Hulu). Kate was named a ‘New Face of Comedy’ at the Just For Laughs Festival, and has screen tested for Saturday Night Live. Her critically-acclaimed solo show, Cooking with Kathryn, won "Best Physical Comedy" at Frigid Fest and "Critics Choice" at PortFringe and has had sold out runs in New York and LA. Kate earned a spot on the highly coveted Cirque du Soleil roster and has studied with the French master clown, Philippe Gaulier. In her spare time, she enjoys teaching clown workshops, drinking too much coffee, and playing with her dog Sammy.
